Gender: Male
Personality: Gon is very simple. For the most part he's very self centered, barely taking into account other's feelings over his own. Food and comfort are his concerns, and if doesn't get them he'll find a way to get them by force. Usually when something comes along that causes Gon to be uncomfortable, he'll make it go away either by breaking or making it hurt.
If he meets someone he likes he'll be attracted to them, and do his best to be their friend/ally, despite his selfish attitude most of the time, he will protect those he cares about with his life and will feel either deep sorrow or anger if he loses them for some reason or another. In relation to that on rare occasion Gon will act selflessly, although it may lead to ulterior motives.
Due to his young age, he has no comprehension of the consequences of what he does other than the immediate effects, this can sometimes lead to Gon biting off more than he can chew.
Backstory: (headcanon'd for large pieces of it.) Our story begins 65 million years ago, when behemoths roamed the planet. There are many creatures humanity has discovered in time of earth's history, and yet there are still many more left unknown to science, one of which was a group of eggs laid by a unknown species of Theropod. Unfortunately many of them wouldn't live to see the day when they would break free of their shells; a massive meteorite was hurtling towards earth, one that would be large enough to wipe out most of the animal life on the planet. In one fell swoop Gon's entire lineage (as well as everything else) was gone.no pun intended
But somehow, be it a fluke in space-time, supernatural intervention, or something else entirely, a portal open and one egg was saved from the coming destruction. Where that portal sent him is unknown, but it doesn't really matter. Hatched in a unknown time and world, without a mother to take care of him, Gon let his instincts take over, exploring the planet for it's wonder and splendor.
Moral Standing: Neutral...mostly.
Dreams: He's pretty much a child. His only dream is what's for dinner
Fears: Not much, although experiencing hunger and the loss of a friend will make him angry, if that's anything to go by.
Extra: Despite his size, he's amazingly strong.
He speaks in Pokemon speak (although in the original manga he's completely silent)
